Trick Tips

360:
1) Approach the jump with a little bit more speed than it takes just to clear it. you'll loose some forward momentum with your rotation.
2) As your front tire is leaving the lip this is when you should start your rotation, Turn your head and drop your inside shoulder.
3) Keep your head turned and when you get about 270 degrees spot your landing
4) finish the rotation and set both tires down on the landing and ride away.
Tips: Keep your head turned through the rotation, if you stop looking you will stop spinning.

Backflip:
1)Just like a 360 make sure to take a bit of extra speed into the jump to accommodate for the loss of forward momentum with the rotation.
2) As your front tire leaves the lip look back and shift your body weight back almost as if your doing a manual.
3) Keep your head back your entire rotation and spot your landing
4) As you finish the rotation spot your landing and get ready for touch down
Tips: Commit, commit, commit! Most important thing about a flip is to keep your head back your entire spin, looking forward will stall out your entire rotation.
If you have to press the eject button do so after the point of being totally inverted so you can land on your feet/knees rather than your head.

Tailwhip:
1) approach the jump with the same speed needed to clear it
2) when your back tire leaves the lip take your non kicking foot off the pedal and kick the bike with your kicking foot.
3)As your bike is spinning use your arms to throw it the rest of the way around
4) Get your feet ready to catch the bike, there are two ways of doing this:
A: lift up your non catching foot and throw it over the bike as your catching foot finds the pedal.
B: Hop onto the bike as if you were standing on the ground and get both feet on pedals at the same time.
Tips: Tailwhips are an extremely frustrating trick. Catching Tailwhips is probably the hardest part of any trick on a bike. When your first learning them concentrating on getting the bike around, then on getting your legs over the bike, then aim for one pedal then finally landing with both feet on pedals.

No Foot Can:
1) Take off with normal speed for the gap
2) When your back tire leaves the lip take your feet off the pedals and raise up which ever leg your throwing over and aim to get it over the top tube while extending your other leg.
3) Bring your kicking foot back over the top tube and then put both feet back on pedals ready to land.
Tips: While learning them make sure both feet come off pedals at the same time so your cranks don't spin. Careful not to kick your seat bringing your leg over

Superman:
1) Take off with the normal amount of speed needed to clear the gap
2) As your back tire leaves the lip take your feet off the pedals and throw them backwards eventually getting your legs totally strait parallel to the ground
3) As your kicking back your feet push your bike forward with your arms aming to get your arms totally strait for a fully extended superman
4) Pull your legs back in and get your bike back under you, find the pedals and roll away
Tips: When your pushing your arms forward try rolling your wrists down to prevent your bike from dropping away

Superman Seat-grab:
1) As your back tire leaves the lip Kick your feet off your pedals and throw them backwards
2) as your kicking the feet back remove your seat grabbing hand off your seat and grab your seat. If the jump is big enough push your seat down to try and get your bike vertical.
3) un-extend your legs as your hand makes its way back to your bars.
4) Get your feet back on the pedals and your hand on your grip and land.
Tips: When your first learning don't worry about pushing your bike down, get your leg extension dialed before you worry about pushing the bike out to get more extension.

360 Drops:
1) As your front tire is nearing the drop hop and turn your hips as if you were doing a flat 180
2) Keep your head turned and spot your landing
3) Finish off your rotation and land
Tips: Don't carve two early, you want your front tire to be right on the edge of the drop before you start your hop, before you even try this trick make sure you have flat 180s and flat 360 tire taps on lock down as those are base skills you will need.

Motowhip:
1)take normal speed into the jump
2) after your front tire leaves the lip turn your bars in the direction you want to whip, turn your hips in the same direction and use your legs to push the bike out
3) Turn your bars back to be strait, let your hips follow and bring the bike back under you to land.
Tips: There are many way to do a whip this is the way I do, if this doesn't work for you than ask around for another method.

Inverts:
before you start:
Make sure you have a relatively tight shirt so your bars dont get tangled up in loose clothing.
1) Approach lip with normal speed, maybe a little more
2) As soon as you leave the lip throw one bar end into your armpit, remember to bend your knees and tuck the bike up or you wont get them very far.
3) As you click the invert spot your landing and start to put your barend down, and put your legs back into the normal position
4) When you land make sure the bike is not at an angle, you can get away with slight errors but i dont recommend it
Another thing to remember is to start small and get used to the action, once you are confident with small ones I recommend you man up and throw the bars with force. I did this and instantly my tables got twice as big.

Fufanu:
Make sure you have abubacas dialed in before you start, being able to tail tap helps as well.
1) Take a little less speed than you would to tail tap if you want to get them right on the coping, slower still if your learning as going over the coping can hurt
2) Do a small hop and after your back wheel is in the air hold down the brake lever and most importantly do not tuck!
3) As your wheel lands on the desired spot move your body down and look over your shoulder to spot the landing.
4) Hop out and lead with your front wheel and let your back wheel follow and push the front wheel down into the landing.
For this trick you can stall at different angles. I recommend starting with going in at 90 degrees and slowly spinning less into them and more out and as you do this you will find you need to go faster if you spin into it less.

Front flip:
1) approach the lip with almost less speed then you would need to clear the gap, the front flip carry's you farther forward then jumping normally does i find.
2)as your leaving the lip you basically want to do a giant J-Hop, as soon as your off the lip and you have executed this hop you want to throw all your body weight forward and lock up your brakes.
3)keep yourself tucked up until you feel yourself finishing the rotation, you dont want to untuck till your basically about to land otherwise you'll under rotate.
4) if you don't untuck you will land front tire heavy, flip over the bars and slam your face into the landing.
Tips: Lock those brakes! this makes the world of difference I find. Also learning them on a short travel slope bike also makes them easier, the back shock compressing and then rebounding as you pop will help start your rotation.
Keep tucked tight during the entire spin, don't forget to untuck as your landing.
